Volunteers - Camperdown Cemetery

Camperdown Cemetery is a unique and important community space for both locals and visitors. It is enjoyed by hundreds of people (and dogs!) each week.

Over the course of the last several months many people have expressed an interest to get involved and make a contribution to the upkeep of the Cemetery – providing expert advice, participating in regular gardening and maintenance activities (e.g. painting, picking up rubbish) or using their skills to support future initiatives.

We would like to gather expressions of interest to get a better understanding of the kind of volunteering the community would like to do.

The administration of the Cemetery is by the board of the Camperdown Cemetery Trust in partnership with Newtown and Erskineville Anglican Church. We welcome feedback and are proud to serve the community of Newtown and beyond.
